Rare Book Search and Retrieval Service
Many Torah scholars are acquainted with the situation
where they are referred to a certain sefer, but cannot lay their hands on it, even in the
local library. We at the Halacha Brura Institute, out of concern for Klal Yisroel, in order to L'hagdil
Torah ul'haadira", offer to solve this problem by providing a "Rare Book Search and Retrieval Service".
Any scholar in need of a specific source can contact us, and we will send him the desired page
or pages, by fax or by e-mail (scanned), free of charge (see conditions).
Conditions:
a. The free service is limited to three sources at a time.
b. If you need more than this, we request a reasonable contribution to defray the costs, so the
project can keep on going. Contributions are tax deductible, and can be made by credit card or
by check.
c. We will supply sources from seforim existent in the library of Yeshivat Mercaz Harav
(together some 15,000 volumes).
What to do:
Contact us detailing the sources you need. If you wish
to make a contribution, state this, and with the delivery of the desired material we will explain
how to contribute.
All contributions to enable this vital service are welcome. They are all tax deductible.
